The County Treasurer receipts for all funds received by the county, deposits them in the bank, credits them to their proper fund within the county accounting system, then balances the account.  The County Treasurer is also the Treasurer for the Schools. Jared has held this office since January 2021.

All checks are signed by the County Commissioner, County Clerk, and the Country Treasurer.

The 2024 Plat Books and the 3' x 3' County Wall Maps can be purchased from the County Treasurer's Office. The Plat Books are $35.00 each, and the Wall Maps are $50.00 each. We currently have both with and without the E911 Addresses. Items can be mailed for an additional $5.

Veterans Memory Walk of Honor Bricks, Veteran's applications and Guardian applications can be picked up in the Treasurer's Office as well.

Mr. Brewer is assisted by Deputy Treasurer Sandy Harris.

Unclaimed Property

The State Treasurer is responsible for returning Missouri’s Unclaimed Property. Each year financial institutions, businesses, government agencies and other organizations turn over millions of dollars in cash and the contents of safe deposit boxes to the Treasurer’s office. The State of Missouri is approaching 1 Billion dollars in unclaimed property. One in Ten Missourians have unclaimed property.

Click the button below to view the State of Missouri's website for unclaimed property and to file a claim

If you need assistance in filling out the claim forms on-line or if you want to come by the Treasurer's Office here in the Courthouse I would be glad to assist you.  You might want to call prior to coming by the office to make sure I will be available to assist you.  My number is 660-886-3636.
