The State Treasurer is responsible for returning Missouri’s Unclaimed Property. Each year financial institutions, businesses, government agencies and other organizations turn over millions of dollars in cash and the contents of safe deposit boxes to the Treasurer’s office. The State of Missouri is approaching 1 Billion dollars in unclaimed property. One in Ten Missourians have unclaimed property. Saline County has 13,600 individual entries on this list.
Click the button below to view the State of Missouri's website for unclaimed property and to file a claim
NOTE: Just for clarification the Saline County list is just an extract from the State of Missouri's Unclaimed Property List - No unclaimed money or property is held here in Saline County. When you fill out the form and file for unclaimed property - you are doing so with the State of Missouri - NOT Saline County.
If you need assistance in filling out the claim forms on-line or if you want to come by the Treasurer's Office here in the Courthouse I would be glad to assist you. You might want to call prior to coming by the office to make sure I will be available to assist you. My number is 660-886-3636.
